Once more I have let the blog be long overdue. This is for a couple of reasons, allow me to divulge along the way.
I was in the midst of changing my career prospects from Marketing Institute of Singapore to 99.co so had to do a bit of house cleaning before I could part with a clear conscience. Do give your support to both my past and present places, huat ah!!

Also, if it wasn't obvious in my previous posts, I have been trying to date someone for the past 3 months. Me being me, it didn't work out because, well, I'm quite shit in relationships. Yes, full blame on me. My sincere apologies to you. But I'll come to that later on. Not sure if I can make it funny, but heck, I'm already a joke.
I really appreciate given the chance to join this start-up. Being less than 3 years in the industry, 99.co has already overtaken more established names, and are now currently number 2 in the market. Go online to research by yourself, no BS from me!
I really appreciate even more that my first day at work was to join in an event under Marcus Luah from the Propnex Powerful Negotiators group. You could see the top performers letting their hair down, and have their natural charisma shine through.
So I had a really good time at Altimate, since Marcus Luah generously booked the whole place for a few hours. I also have to say that he has really pretty agents under his teams, and when there was no performance going on, or when I was waiting for a refill of my (free flow) beer, my eyes were suitably busy. What an awesome TGIF.
I was shy to take the selfies, but they were necessary! We were also up at 1Altitude to take a group shot, so I found time to sneak away to a corner and take a scenic selfie. There are more pictures but I didn't get their permission so I'm not posting any of those. Although I think I might have to apologise to Altimate's management for requesting techno songs towards the end of the event. Actually not at all, I freaking loved it!
That's the song that sparked (full pun intended) the short techno party till management complained about the chanting... Hahaha. Shiok.
Now to more sombre news, I went from potentially dating, to being definitely single once more. Not all bad news since I totally forgot how pricey dating could be, so this is a welcome relief for my wallet, and allows me to restructure my finances such that I am better prepared next time round. Wait, let me grab a drink to feel better...
*HIC* Being older, more mature, and more composed *burp*, I find myself handling this latest development a lot better than expected. Also helps that I am thoroughly swamped with work, so I generally have enough energy at the end of the day to crawl into bed after I shower and wake up ready for the next challenge.
But I have to admit, dating felt nice. It brought back emotions that I haven't experienced in quite a while, and I think I'm finally emotionally ready to find a partner. Ladies, collect your queue number!
Oei, how come even number 1 also not taken up ah... Oh ya, 5 readers...
Oh ya! I had damn good fishball noodles, at Keat Hong CC, directly opposite Lot 1. PGFN is the name of the place. Go for it, people. Good service, great tasting food. I like. Plus the original stall has been around since 1982, so the great taste has been refined and perfected over the years. Best thing is, this outlet is open 24 hours! ROAR!!!
So that's about it for now, I'll keep you guys posted once I sort out the ability to add more photos to my google photos album. **Latest update - my photos are linked once more**
Signing off,
KJ
