Taking one for the team!

So nothing is set in stone yet. But I think things are definitely looking up on a personal note. For example, I dun have to be lonely when out drinking anymore. In fact, even if I am having a quiet beer, I have someone to think about and make me grin like a schoolboy who got his favourite toy.

This is down in no small part to dating apps, specifically, Coffee Meets Bagel. They're not paying me to write this, so you can be sure it's an honest review. Now, how this app works is a little different. You match, and then have only 7 days to text before the chat is locked (cos they need money too). If you haven't exchanged contacts, then you just need to pay to unlock the chat for another 7 days. Alternatively, just up your game la. Dun just save the funny texts for the sweet young things at pubs.

BUT. I shan't jinx it so no more info is to be revealed.If things go well, there might be a pic or two of us out together. But not yet. In the meantime, let me top up this post with events that I have overlooked. 

I took time out to stroll around and enjoy the night scenario about town. You have to admit, the iPhone 7 plus makes me look like a half decent photographer. Dun take my word for it, look at the following two pics!

I can't remember if I remember mentioning this. But I recently read about this place called Stickies Bar. Rather than talking about it, please take a look at the promo as indicated in the next photo.

Yes, every damn day, if you are able to drink at 2pm, a pint is only at $2. 

ONE. WHOLE. PINT. Alcoholics unite!!!

Apparently there was some (bad?) press about the place from a blogger (not me, not me. no one reads my blog anyway). But some one else apparently got burned by the owner of the establishment. Read all about the drama here. I support the management, btw. Come on la, licences are not easy to obtain, be it driver's or alcohol. If you really think a blogger has enough clout to shake other customers from $2 pints, think again. 

My personal experience at the Sunset Way outlet and the Keng Cheow St outlet is ok. Granted, the staff aren't the friendliest, but then they are really overworked, and have no time to entertain lewd comments from horny customers. One, they are actually pretty attractive, and two, the price of the drinks draws a really young crowd, mostly bursting with hormones. See where I'm getting at?

So having to put up with horny, drunk and bossy customers every day? Dun expect saccharine sweet smiles at the end of operating hours. Plus excessive consumption of cheap alcohol leads to puking. They need to clear puke too. I go your home, drink then puke and leave. You see your mood?

So yeah, this is a pretty short blog post. Cos no one praised my photography skills. Pui.
